In January, the Troop went to Mr. Adam's cabin.  We spent most of the day working on building snow huts.  We all had to work together to shovel all the snow into one pile.  Then we carved out the inside.  We built four huts altogether, and only a few of the adults slept inside (we still haven't forgiven them).  We had a scavenger hut in the evening as well, and managed to make a fire and have a great campfire program.  All in all, the Okpik outing was great fun and everyone had a good time.  We even got a Mountain Dew verse out of it!  It won't even be shown here-- we'll have to sing it for anyone that wasn't there at the next campout!
