On February 19, 2008, Jason received his Eagle Scout award. Jason had worked incredibly hard to make it to this rank. He has completed 23 merit badges so far and is still going and planning on getting more. One of his goals is to maybe get the bronze palm. The service project that he did was making benches for the Good Samaritan United Methodist church. The benches would be for the outdoor services so that the senior citizens didn't have to sit on the grass or bring their own chairs. Jason will age out on January 9 and he his hoping that the last campouts will be the best he will ever have. He is also the first Indian to get this reward.
